For longevity, please follow the care instructions on your garment label.

All knitwear is made with pre-shrunk cotton and should be machine washed cold and laid flat to dry to preserve its shape and texture. For extra care after washing, you can gently roll your garment in a clean towel to remove excess water. Press gently, don’t wring. Then lay it flat on a dry towel away from direct sunlight or heat.

Avoid hot water and tumble drying. Always fold your knitwear instead of hanging it, as hangers can stretch the fibers, especially at the shoulders.

Shipping

All orders ship from our Wilmington, North Carolina studio within 2-3 business days, and often the same day they’re placed.

After leaving our studio, delivery typically arrives within 2-5 business days in the United States and to most international destinations. Shipping timelines are estimates and may vary due to customs or local carrier delays.

For international orders, duties, taxes, and import fees are not included in the shipping cost. These charges are set by your country’s customs office and will be collected by the carrier prior to delivery.

Pre-order items require a longer production window of approximately 6-10 weeks.
If any delays occur, we will always notify you with updated timing.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to feel confident and excited about your Coco Clem purchase. 

Returns and exchanges are accepted on new, unused items (excluding earrings and body jewelry, which are final sale for hygienic reasons).

• Request a return or exchange within 7 days of delivery
• Must be shipped back within 7 days of return / exchange approval
• Items must be unworn and in original condition

Refunds may be issued to the original payment method, store credit, or exchange.
Refunds exclude original shipping and include a 10% handling fee of the product subtotal. The handling fee is waived for exchanges or store credit. 

Returns are processed within 5-10 business days after inspection.

International customers are responsible for return shipping and should use tracked, insured service, as Coco Clem is not liable for lost returns.

Pre-order items cannot be canceled once production begins but may be eligible for return after delivery unless marked final sale.

All Coco Clem knitwear is produced in partnership with a WRAP Gold certified factory. WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) is an independent, nonprofit certification focused on promoting safe, lawful, humane, and ethical manufacturing through third-party social compliance auditing.

The Gold certification is awarded to facilities that demonstrate full compliance with WRAP’s 12 Principles, which are based on international workplace standards, local laws, and globally recognized human-rights frameworks.

These principles require:

• Compliance with applicable labor and employment laws
• Prohibition of forced labor, child labor, harassment, abuse, and discrimination
• Fair compensation, legally compliant working hours, and respect for freedom of association
• Safe and healthy working conditions, environmental responsibility, and transparent, lawful supply chain practices

Beyond their WRAP Gold certification, our knitwear partner uses the Anker Methodology to track region specific living wages based on real local cost of living data. This helps ensure pay is regularly reviewed and adjusted in line with independently researched living wage standards.

Where applicable, our knitwear production incorporates third-party traceable fibers with farm to factory transparency, including:

• Organic cotton certified to recognized organic cotton standards
• Cotton verified through the U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol®, supporting responsible farming practices and supply chain traceability
